KEN DAVERN & HIS SALTY DOGS- In The Gloryland- (Trad-Jazz led by then 23-year-old clarinetist Kenny Davern. The unique & instantly recognizable sound of his clarinet ranked him among the best jazz musicians for over 50 years. On these few early 1958 Elektra stereo LPs, the stereo 'sticker' was in fact printed into the sleeve design. The label indicates this is a '45/45' pressing, referring to the so-called 'Blumlein' method of cutting stereo discs w/ left & right channels each at 45 degrees to the disc.
