**************************************** DWIGHT TWILLEY BAND
Twilley Don't Mind
Dwight Twilley and his partner Phil Seymour created an enduring and highly memorable brand of power-pop that blended Beatlesque pop and Sun rockabilly "slapback" echo. These two guys single-handedly redefined the meaning of 'Power-Pop', and raised the genre to new heights. On this LP producer/engineer Bob Schaper (Ringo Starr; Peter Criss), and guitarist Bill Pitcock IV add a solid dimension to their sound. With guest musicians, Tom Petty; Rev. Patrick Henderson; John Johnson; James Newton-Howard; and others, we hear: Looking For The Magic; That I Remember; Rock & Roll 47; Trying To Find My Baby; Here She Comes; Sleeping; Chance To Get Away; Invasion; and the title track, Twilley Don't Mind. This original 1977 pressing on Arista Records (4140), with proper innersleeve, appears overall Excellent!
