**************************************** THE HOPELESSLY OBSCURE
This limited edition 12" Mini-LP was pressed on virgin carbonless vinyl (Quietex) in 1984, and plays at 45 RPM for Maximum Fidelity. The fantastic original cover art by Susan Bennett depicts the imagery of the songs within: The Twin Cities Of Your Mind; Any Kind Of Fish You Like; Everything She Says Is Cryptic (She's So Obscure); and Rain Of Death (later covered by Plan 9). A bonus track titled "Ascent To Hell" plays out to a locked groove. The band line-up consists of Miguel d'Amore (ex-Cryptic Edge); Bob MacKenzie (ex-Lyres, G.G.Allin); Jim Condon; Kenne Highland (ex-Gizmos, Afrika Korps); and Ken Kaiser (ex-Beachmasters; Afrika Korps). These songs were recorded at Radiobeat Studios in Boston, and engineered by Jimmy Dufour & Lou Giordano. Guest musicians include Peter Lost, Jonee Zee & John Pitingolo. One of the more important releases to come out of the great Bosstown indie rock scene, & a great growth item too! This colorful, and yes, Obscure Limited Edition release has it all...
