**************************************** LESLIE GORE - Girl Talk
By the time Leslie had reached the age of 17 she had signed an exclusive recording contract with Mercury Records & hit big with "It's My Party". This started a string of hits that continued on through to this, her fourth album, where the hits continue with: Maybe I Know; Hey Now; Look Of Love; Say Goodbye; Wonder Boy (also made as a Scopitone); Live And Learn; You've Come Back; Little Girl Go Home; I Died Inside; Movin' Away; Sometimes I Wish I Were A Boy; and It's Just About That Time. This is the original STEREO pressing on MERCURY RECORDS (SR- 60903), produced by the great Quincy Jones, NOT the Mercury 'Wing' reissue with fewer songs. The record jacket shows minor color rubbing, & there is rubber stamp to the upper right back cover indicating that this is a promotional copy, but otherwise appears in overall Very Good to Excellent condition with no writing or seam splits. The red Mercury label shows some minor spindle wear, while the playing surfaces have some light surface marks from handling. This an overall EXcellent play copy to be enjoyed for the great vocals, & songwriters such as Ellie Greenwich, Jeff Barry, Van McCoy, and others including Leslie Gore herself.
